I have been completely M.I.A. from my blog recently, and it is in large part because I knew if I posted I wouldn’t be able to resist talking about things like:
Throwing up allllll the time
Loving cream cheese
Being sleepier than normal
Hating cream cheese
And all other emotional/hormonal outbursts.
That’s right…
We’re Pregnant!
Little tiny Franklin baby!
We got to see and hear our babies heartbeat yesterday and I instantly fell in love.
Me being me, I wasn’t going to be satisfied merely posting “we’re pregnant”, so I came up with a concept to do pregnancy announcements and found a fabulous photographer to bring my vision to life as shown below!
Bun in the Oven
I wanted to do a “bun in the oven” 50′s style kitchen scene, but in the middle of a field [I am horribly complicated, I know]
So when we found out we were expecting, I went to Craigslist to find an old oven/stove. I found the one above for only $40!
After that, everything else was easy.
Well, easy for me.
Derek and my brothers did have to haul that stove down a hill to this nice grassy area.
[Such good men!]
